Individualized massage sessions are of utmost importance when it comes to addressing the unique needs and concerns of each client.  Your sessions should be catered specifically to your body, preferences, and goals. Each body has it's own history, from the sports you have played, to the injuries you have incurred, to the stresses your individual day to day life has given you.

Sessions Offered

Pre/Post Event Massage

These sessions usually are a 60 min session. The goal of a pre-event massage is to prime the athletes body to be in peak performance potential for their event and address any last minute concerns. A post event massage is to help assist removing the event residue off their body as quickly as possible so they can return into optimal training.

In/Off Season Massage

These sessions can be a one time session or planned out in the scheduling to cover a in or out of season block. These sessions are usually 60-90 minutes long and are designed to keep the athlete in optimal peak performance. increasing potential throughout their season and minimizing their injury potential. Sometimes the off-season sessions will include injury rehab or post surgical sessions prior to returning to the next season.

Remedial Massage

This session can be 30/60/90 minutes The goal would be to address any issue that is limiting or causing a client discomfort. From a hamstring strain, to neck muscle soreness limiting mobility, to a rolled ankle.

Post-Surgical Massage

These sessions are usually 60 minutes but may vary due to the severity of the surgery. From addressing post surgical bruising and edema, to functional scar tissue and myofascial restriction reduction. These sessions are aimed to assist the client in healing optimally! By decreasing pain, reducing healing time and assisting with functional and healthy scar tissue formation.

Specialty Massages (Parkinsons)

60 minute treatments with focused areas has been proven to be highly effective for these specialty sessions. For the past 10 years I have had the honor of working with Parkinsons patients. I have found that through regular treatments, massage can be extremely beneficial in addressing not only the muscle rigidity brought on with Parkinsons, but also the stresses that it puts on the human body. It is a true pleasure to continue my work in this field and I look forward to continuing to seek out the latest research and training to assist any client who comes through my door with this.

Kinesiotaping

Typically is applied at the end of a session and can be left on for a time period ranging from a few hours to 3 days.

Other Modalities Offered

Normatec Therapy

Uses compression Therapy to promote healing and recovery. Enhances circulation, reduces muscle soreness, and speeds up recovery time.

PBM Therapy

Photobiomodulation therapy is used in two forms with the LLLT and RED LIGHT THERAPY. It is when a low level light therapy and red light therapy is incorporated promoting vasodilation which allows inflammation and swelling to be removed from injured sites more effectively.

Tecar Wrap Therapy

A Italian wrap therapy used to increase circulation, decrease swelling and promote recovery.

Aromatherapy

Can be used both topically and through diffusion. Each client is considered individually and both the clients individual needs and also the benefits of the individual oils used are considered.

Vibration Therapy

Helps in reducing muscle soreness and relaxation of musculature. Can be used on larger musculature prior to deeper work to allow faster relaxation of more dense musculature.

Tool Assisted Therapy

Myofascial Scraping Tools can be used to correct disfunctional scar tissue as well as for soft tissue treatment.
